As a Systems Engineer supporting the customer, you will be trusted to solve complex IT issues while delivering outstanding customer service.  GDIT is seeking highly cleared candidates with active clearances to provide infrastructure support of enterprise –wide systems and products for the Intelligence Community (IC).  This Systems Engineer will work with the latest commercial products, such as AWS in an agile environment on various applications designed and maintained for a broad range of IC customers. See some of the daily tasks/responsibilities and job requirements listed below:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • You will be working with Oracle/AWS, SQL, Java, GitHub, Docker and HTML
  • You will be providing systems engineering, design, and some database administration and O&M support 
  • You will assist in designing and defining system architecture for new and existing computer systems.
  • You will assist and coordinate in system development to include design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testing.
  • You will assist and coordinate in the development of new software systems, and help provide technical expertise in software architecture, document and design specifications, and help produce prototypes to demonstrate application design.

​WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
  • Minimum of 2+ years related experience.
  • Current TS/SCI clearance with an active polygraph
