General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is the Prime contractor for the Flight School XXI (FSXXI) program which supports the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE). Located in Daleville, Alabama, GDIT owns and operates the facilities which provides flight simulator training.


GDIT has an immediate opening for an Air Traffic Control (ATC) Specialist (Functional Analyst Senior) in Daleville, AL. This position requires a minimum of (6) six years ATC experience in controlled airspace at Air/Heliports and Army Stage Fields.  This position will require working non-standard hours and weekends to support customer requirements. The successful candidate will have a customer service mentality, experience with Tower and Radar ATC procedures, operate a simulator bay Remote Instructor/Operator Station and fluent in the use of desktop and web-based applications in order to perform routine operations for the customer such as inputting class rosters and scheduling FSXXI students. 

Other Qualifications:

-ATCS / CTO / FAA Certificate 

-Business and analytical problem-solving skills

-Good communication skills

-Ability to follow oral and written directions

-Understand and apply regulations applying to functional area

-Available to work non-standard hours, from 5AM to midnight, to include weekends

-Focused on customer service

-Ability to work in a team environment
