work depends on an Information Technology Business Management (ITBM) Process Lead  joining our team to support our government client’s  activities in the Northern Virginia locations.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an Information Technology Business Management (ITBM) Process Lead facilitates and supports the design, deployment, and operations of IT processes. The Process Lead directs and facilitates the deployment of process and procedures, as well as IT Infrastructure governance and operations.

  • Responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of a ITSM or ITBM process area within Multi-sourcing Service Integration (MSI) construct 
  • Assist with the deployment and transformation of IT infrastructure processes and procedures via the ServiceNow platform 
  • Provide analysis and support for on-going service delivery, performance, and governance operations
  • Revise/develop Visio workflows and identify business and functional requirements for process updates
  • Develop process guides, standard operating procedures, policies, work instructions, and knowledge articles
  • Facilitate meetings and boards with various internal and external stakeholders, including Government leadership
  • Support monitoring throughout ITSM/ITBM process life cycle; verifying adherence to specified process requirements and support quality assurance activities (Monitor)
  • Identify and pursue process improvements, optimization, and/or development efforts for IT processes (CSI)
  • Support evaluations and quality assessments for proper implementation of processes to meet quality standards
  • Facilitate TEMs and other requirement gathering work sessions
  • Work as a self-starter who delivers high quality work and can adapt to new challenges, either on their own or as part of a team (as both a leader and subordinate) 
  • Participates in special projects as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • An Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
  • Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years of related work experience
  • Working knowledge of the Service (ITSM) or Business Management (ITBM) workflows and process
  • Relevant experience as an ITSM or ITBM Process Lead or Analyst in program(s) of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Excellent written and communications skills with the ability to clearly document and explain business processes.

Desire Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of the Service Management workflows (and associated development via Visio or similar), and ITSM and/or processes
  • ITIL certification(s) or training
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or other IT management tools.
