GDIT is seeking a Sr. Security Analyst to provide Security Analyst services for an exciting new contract.Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for ensuring that the security and privacy posture is maintained for an organizational system and works in close collaboration with the system owner.
  • Manage system security vulnerabilities in accordance with FISMA, NIST, DOC, and USPTO standards, policies, and guidelines.
  • Serve as a principal advisor on all matters, technical and otherwise, involving the controls for the system. 
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal, Department of Commerce (DOC) and USPTO security and privacy guidelines.

Key Requirements:
  • U. S. Citizen and/or Green Card holder
  • Ability to secure a Public Trust clearance
  • 3+ years of substantive IT knowledge and demonstrate hands-on expertise and/or training in areas of emerging technologies.
  • Must have knowledge of security scan tools to ensure remediation of findings.
  • Must have hands-on experience and expertise with ethical hacking, firewall and intrusion detection/prevention technologies, secure coding practices and threat modeling.
  • Be a self-starter with keen analytical skills, curiosity, agility, and adaptability.
  • The ability to work quickly, willingness to work on ad hoc assignments.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Provide Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Analysis.
  • Contribute to a team of information assurance professionals working to improve technical security posture in a Cloud environment.
  • Perform Security Operations and Compliance, Cloud ISSO
  • Write reports, brief event details to leadership, and coordinate remediation.
Desired:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline
  • Certified Solutions Architect Associate certification from one of the major Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google)

This position requires being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by December 8, 2021 or the start date, if after December 8.

The likely salary range for this position is $102,240 - $153,360, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
