The primary responsibility, under general supervision of the project leader, is to curate ecotoxicology data for inclusion in the ECOTOXicology Knowledge Base (ECOTOX KB).
The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree plus two years of experience or Master's Degree in science related field; the preferred level of experience is a Master’s Degree and 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have, at a minimum, the following skill set:

Self-starter with the ability to complete individual tasks which contribute to a larger framework;

Excellent writing and oral communication skills; and
Experience participating in meetings and conference calls.
Ability to read, interpret and apply guidelines, standard operating procedures, methodologies;
Experience synthesizing, interpreting and communicating scientific information;
Experience developing presentation materials, technical documentation, Standard Operating Procedures; and
Ability to provide technical expertise to team members and users to help resolve project-related problems.
Experience analyzing environmental toxicology data including experimental design and the application/ interpretation of statistical concepts
Familiarity with peer reviewed journal article and technical report formats
Strong knowledge of common software applications, including Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe; general skills in learning and basic use of a wide-range of software including but not limited to bibliographic, statistical analysis, and data plotting software.
