Job Description: The Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) National Team Engineering is developing a tool and database in support of the system assessment process used by the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). This position is for an engineer to focus on the data repository and object relation mapping layers of the tool. The primary responsibilities are as follows:
The successful candidate will apply their database software skills within an Agile development environment towards implementing and securing the data repository and object relation mapping layers.
Ten or more years of software design and development experience
Seven years of database development experience
Five years of T-SQL, SQL, Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS), or DOORS Next Generation development experience
C# or similar programming experience
Experience in an Agile software development environment
Familiarity with the MDA system assessment data and process
Database Cyber protection techniques
Master of Science degree in Software Engineering or equivalent advanced degree
Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
