And our work depends on an Infrastructure Operations RCDD joining our team to support ETM activities at the Pentagon. At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an Infrastructure Operations RCDD supporting ETM, you will be trusted to manage all aspects of Infrastructure Operations in a fast paced and highly complex environment to include conduit, cable trays, copper, coax, fiber and all associated elements in the Pentagon, Mark Center, & buildings within the NCR supported by JSP. In this role, a typical day will include: - Must follow JSP and commercial best practice procedures, standards and/or provide Engineering Installation Plans (EIPs) required for installation of cable racks, wiring of the racks and testing required during installation. O&M Responsible for performing 24/7/365 break-fix on all Inside Plant cable infrastructure under JSP purview. - Serve as direct contractor support to ISP Customer Leadership. - Ensures Move, Add, and Change activities are completed in accordance with BICSI or Industry Best Practice standards. - Manages a team of approximately 20 employees. - Ensure all pertinent records are updated and maintained in the Organizations Database (Planet IRM). - Ensure equipment, cables, patch bays, or other circuit access points are labeled appropriately. - Responsible for deploying labor resources efficiently to accommodate large, on-going, & continuous work load. - Prepares and presents high level impact briefings to the Customer. - Works in concert with other Infrastructure Operations sections to deliver layer 1-2 Transport.
