The QA, Configuration and Metrics Manager (QACM) is expected to have experience with large, complex IT programs and organization and with analyzing information from multiple sources to compile a complete, holistic approach to quality across the program. The QACM can easily communicate their plans to stakeholders to influence decisions that support the organization's overall strategic objectives.
Bachelor’s degree in Management or IT related discipline
10+ years of relevant experience
5+ years of management experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated experience leading a team in a scaled agile environment with a focus on delivering value to the customer
Experience working with stakeholders, suppliers, solution train
Self-managed, strong self-organization skills, and eager to contribute
Keen attention to detail and analytical mindset
Eager to explore new technologies, and develop new skills to advance your team
Continually assesses activities and actively explores opportunities to leverage the best practices and lessons learned of other agencies and organizations toward improving the effectiveness and efficiency of quality processes.
Conducts Internal Configuration Management (CM) Audits to find and correct gaps in compliance
Challenges the status quo, hungry to explore, evaluate, and understand new technologies, and wish to share insights and mentor your team
Experience working with federal government clients, subcontractors and stakeholders
Assists in identifying the needs of internal and external customers and addresses their concerns
Performs duties with opportunity to exercise initiative, independent judgement and discretion under minimal supervision.
Ensures team is working cross functionally with solutions teams to create effective methods to capturing and tracking information with the goal of streamlining the development of end-to-end mission solutions
Works closely with the program team to ensure all contract deliverable timelines and deliveries are met
Ensures all delivered capabilities conform to the Quality Control Plan
Works closely with the Release Train Engineer to measure and manage the Agile Release Train using a metrics driven approach
Implements cross program processes to measure and track the progress of the agile implementation
Maintain accountability and control of GFX and contractor acquired assets
Provides management oversight:
Oversees development (education, training and experience) of quality assurance professionals.
Conducts continuous evaluations of team functions and processes and initiates appropriate action to improve or simplify operations.
Communicate daily regarding progress with team members
Recruits and develops the talent required to support a complex enterprise environment in support of the mission.
Proactively work with program management team to ensure that appropriate staffing resources are assigned, put in place, and effectively utilized at the appropriate time.
Experience with capturing data out of JIRA
Experience developing and editing Sharepoint dashboards and portals
Experience proposing, developing, streamlining, improving, updating, and increasing effectiveness of SLAs for systems and enterprise wide IT Services.
Experience maintaining and delivering a Quality Control Plan.
Experience with developing a configuration management plan, maintaining it and ensuring it remains a top priority
Experience incorporating ITIL as a cornerstone of IT delivery, and work performed conforms to the ITIL standards.
PMP certification a plus
Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly
