Eagle Alliance is currently seeking a Vulnerability Scanning Specialist to be part of our Vulnerability Assessment Team. The selected candidate will perform with various tools in support of the client’s Continuous Monitoring effort. If selected, you will perform vulnerability and compliance scans of OS, database, and applications using industry standard tools. You must also have an understanding and experience with common cybersecurity toolsets and processes to include STIGS, ACAS, IAVA Management and Implementation.
A Day in the Life Will Likely Include:
Support the implementation of new security solutions, participate in the creation and maintenance of policies, standards, baselines, guidelines and procedures
Support the enforcement of security policies across the organization
Conduct vulnerability audits and assessments
Prepare and execute security test plans, and assess security control effectiveness
Work with stakeholders across enterprise to ensure compliance with security policies, standards, best practices and guidelines
Utilizing the ServiceNow platform import Nessus Scan Files into the SecOps module, generating automated tickets to be worked by vulnerability groups
Sounds good? What You’ll Need to Land this Job:
Active TS/SCI with current Polygraph
5+ years of full-time experience working in IT organizations and technical environments
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent degree and/or work experience
Knowledge of Windows/Linux system administration for setting up Security Center and Nessus Scanners
REQUIRED Certifications: Security+ AND CEH (Certified Ethical Hacking)
Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
Previous exposure to networking architecture coupled with an understanding of network fundamentals
Experience with configuring a vulnerability management platform and performing scans
Diverse experience configuring and maintaining security systems: Vulnerability Scanners
Self-motivated with a desire to learn everything you can about information security
Sense of urgency in relation to cyber-attacks
Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts in simple, professional written English
