Trainer/Knowledge Base Manager

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Trainer/Knowledge Base Manager supporting the customer, you will be trusted to training service desk agents and close support team members as well as maintain a knowledge base for the entire support team. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Working with a dedicated, highly skilled team of professionals
  • Training service desk agents, close support teams, and potentially CMA/DMA teams
  • Resolving critical IT-related issues that negatively impact the mission
  • Lending expertise and institutional knowledge to less experienced team members to improve the overall excellence of the team
  • Collaborating with team members to identify process improvements
  • Managing the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years related experience
  • Knowledge of current customer ticketing system (Maximo-based)
  • Technical Skills: Experience troubleshooting both software and hardware IT-related issues, excellent customer service, IT ticketing system experience

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • User-level knowledge of ServiceNow
