Systems Engineer Sr Advisor

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Senior Linux/Windows Systems Engineer you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on Systems Engineer Sr Advisor joining our team to to deliver innovative and sustainable IT environments to our customers.
Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for the client window server devices. Provides Tier 1 through Tier 3 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems. Strong communication skills, as well as excellent teaming skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Required Experience: Master's Degree and (5) years minimum experience, Bachelor's Degree and (10) years’ experience, associate degree and (15) years’ experience, or High School Grad and (20) years of relevant experience
● Required Technical Skills:
Strong Windows Desktop Operations and Maintenance
Strong Windows Server Operations and Maintenance
Strong Active Directory Operations and Maintenance
Strong Linux Desktop Operations and Maintenance
Strong Linux Server Operations and Maintenance
Strong VMware Setup, Configuration, and Maintenance and Operations
Research Systems Architecture (i.e., Network, Storage, VMware, and Security Services)
● Security Clearance Level: Must possess an ACTIVE TS/SCI with POLYGRAPH
CLEARANCE
● Location: Customer Site
