With an internationally dispersed team supporting each combatant command, the US BICES-X team is in direct support of the war fighter and their missions. We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world issues on a cross-functional, fast paced team. 

The Business Process Architect will support roadmap planning, Enterprise Architect (EA) model development, requirements analysis, service mapping, and directly support the planning and execution of enterprise projects as required. Recommend innovative technologies that will enhance the presentation and usage of EA products.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs and defines architectures for future-state IT capabilities and services
  • Work with stakeholders to facilitate alignment of business strategies, operational processes, and IT strategies related to future-state architecture changes
  • Utilize data to develop architecture models, service maps, visualizations, and analyses to clearly articulate the current and future needs
  • Interact with and develop relationships with Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) vendors to understand technology alignment, licensing model, service offerings, and entitlements
  • Analyzes customer needs and provides guidance on industry trends and opportunities.
  • Identifying and documenting architectural requirements supporting future Enterprise needs, including goals, approach, Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), and desired end state for each milestone
  • Researches and proposes products, systems, and solutions that meet functional and technical requirements or recommendations
  • Responsible for developing high level system design diagrams
  • Evaluates analytically and systematically problems with work flows, organization and planning and develops appropriate corrective actions.
  • Prepare assessments, point papers, briefings, and executive presentations to contribute architectural support documents for leadership

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of Systems Engineering experience required.
  • Must possess and maintain a Secret Clearance; TS/SCI Preferred
  • Bachelors and Master’s degree required – may substitute additional years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience conducting analytical studies including enterprise architectures
  • Experience with ServiceNow Service mapping and/or Splunk ITSI
  • Experience developing DoDAF-compliant enterprise architecture
  • Experience with International Council of Systems Engineering (INCOSE) practice and standards
  • FEAC-Certified Federal Enterprise Architect
  • PMI-Certified Project Management Associate
