Manages and participates in a team of doctrine writers, training developers, mobile training teams, and web designers to formulate, design, modify, and publish unit training management doctrine, guidance, and training support. Provides subject matter expertise for Unit Training Management, doctrine writing, reporting, and personnel management. Responsibilities include reviewing and providing input to all doctrine and training products developed prior to submission to the Government; developing and maintaining team delivery timelines; delivering monthly status and trip reports to the Government; reviewing team deliverables to ensure quality delivery; coordinating timelines, deliverables, and all documentation requirements with the Government; and planning, preparing, and executing meetings with Government stakeholders to ensure Government representatives are informed of contract status and impediments.
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in a related business field. Experience as a battalion commander in the G3 or a sergeant major in the G3/S3. Knowledge of Army organizational structure, processes, and doctrine and strategies (AR 350-1, Leader Development and Training).Working knowledge of TDC, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred: Master’s Degree in a related business field. Graduate of the Command and General Staff College, Sergeant Majors Academy or other military service school equivalent. 10 + years military experience in Operational Army training management or training/training development in Institutional Army. Experience with the Army Training Network (ATN). Knowledge of Army Training Development, AR 350-1, FM 7-0, and overall Army Doctrine.
