Our work depends on a Senior Project Coordinator joining our team to support leading technology modernization projects from inception to operations in Annapolis Junction, MD.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Project Coordinator supporting a US government customer, you will be trusted to work on Enterprise Information Technology and Cloud solutions transformation and implementation effort. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Collaborating with Project Management leadership and internal teams to ensure project tasks are completed in a timely fashion and all reporting requirements are achieved  

  • Develop project schedules to meet project requirements and determining resource requirements

  • Communicate any issues, problems, or additional information to project managers and project stakeholders and recommend solutions

  • Monitor and evaluate project timeline and activity and report on progress to project manager

  • Interacts regularly with customers and other project stakeholders to ensure conformance to customer requirements

  • Performs a variety of complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of a contract program

  • Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met

  • Develops plans, including budgets and schedules, and monitors tasks to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned program

  • Your success will be measured through maintaining internal and external client relationships, achieving required goals, and meeting project timelines & milestones

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Active TS/SCI with current polygraph

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience OR equivalent combination of experience and education

  • Detailed-oriented, resourceful, results driven and able to multi-task and prioritize under deadlines

  • Demonstrated experience supporting Program/Project for a wide variety of IT solutions

  • Excellent relationship-building, written and oral communication skills.

  • Effective organizational skills

  • Proficiency in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, and other related software applications

  • PMI CAPM or ITIL certifications highly preferred
