The Enterprise IT as a Service – Network as a Service (EITaaS-NaaS) team is seeking a Network andTelecom (Voice)Technician to be a part of their program at Offutt AFB, Bellevue, Nebraska.
The Voice/Network/Telecom Technician will provide technical support to communication systems to the EITaaS-NaaS team.
Standard duties include:
Evaluate, analyze, administer and maintain voice, data and wireless communications systems.
Reads and interprets circuit diagrams and electrical schematics.
Prepares detailed specifications and flowcharts for implementation of new internal systems or modifications to vendor systems.
Coordinates installation of equipment.
May Install, test, adjust and troubleshoot equipment as necessary.
Monitors the operations of telecommunications systems and services of vendors.
Provides end-user training of telecommunications features and functionality.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
Participates in special projects as required.
2-5 years of related telecommunications experience.
Experience with AF Communications Voice Networks and Phones
Top Secret Clearance Desired (must be willing to upgrade if not TS cleared)
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification - Security+ CE or ISC2 SSCP desired
Prefer SL100 Switch experience
Prefer Cisco Unified Communication Manager experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
