GDIT is searching for an Audio Visual Programmer to work as a member of a network engineering/implementation team deploying audio-visual services and products at US military installations in Kuwait.

Lead team overseas in Kuwait for special project requiring Extron Control System programming with Global Scripter and Python experience.

Overseas travel required.

Individual will perform general installation, device configuration, Extron Control System programming with Global Scripter and Python, Crestron Control System programming, troubleshooting, and apply Cybersecurity controls IAW Department of Defense Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).

Candidate will provide programming support, design verification, planning, and assist with installation of video walls, audio systems, conference rooms, digital displays, AV Control System Touch Panels, and unclassified and classified video teleconferencing.

Candidate will additionally analyze requirements, identify shortfalls, develop programming solutions and revise detailed AV system designs; execute engineering implementation plans; perform system integration; perform Systems Acceptance Testing; provide deployed systems operators and maintenance training to the end user, redline system designs and provide As-Built documentation.

Candidate will be responsible for the installation and calibration of audio/visual equipment requiring an understanding of AV system design principles, wiring and terminating head-end system components, and installation interfaces between Extron and Crestron control systems and the AV subsystems.

Overseas travel required.

Required Experience and Skills:

* 5+ years’ experience

Required Education and/or Certifications:

* Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, and/or work experience

* AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist-Design (CTS-D) or -Installer (CTS-I) (CTS-D preferred)

* Certifications from Extron, Crestron or AMX (Extron preferred)

* Must pass an extensive government background check

* Must pass a drug screening test

* Must have a Secret Clearance; TS-SCI preferred
