Our work depends on a Senior Cloud ETL Programmer joining our team to support the Healthcare Fraud Prevention Partnership (HFPP) - Trusted Third Party (TTP) program. This is a one of a kind program that is on the leading edge of healthcare fraud waste and abuse. Protecting dollars through benefit integrity is our mission.
As a Senior Cloud ETL Programmer you will work with varied healthcare data, while staying abreast of cloud based solutions and driving innovation. The TTP is seeking a candidate who thrives on problem solving and on building solutions to support our mission. You will be part of a small team with big responsibilities, with room to grow your skillset and learn new technologies. HOW A SENIOR CLOUD ETL PROGRAMMER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Design, code, test, debug, document, and implement changes to new and existing solutions.
Perform unit testing of code to assure the delivery of a product that meets the user's specifications.
Provides technical advice to technical leads, assisting them with high level planning and cost justifications.
Leads project efforts, ensuring project requirements and timelines are met.
Work with the end user analysts developing the requirements of the Data Warehouse solution.
Work with Business analysts to validate processes of test cases.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Experience in scripting language, preferably Python, shell scripting, SQL programming and JavaScript,
Data warehouse experience (preferably Snowflake).
Building of resources using Cloud Formation templates or Terraform.
Design and development of decoupled resilient data pipelines.
Deep understanding of AWS roles and how they integrate with native services.
Strong Linux understanding mastery of commands within bash or similar shell, Cloud command line interface(CLI) skills (AWS, Snowflake).
Experience implementing code promotions processed through lower environments; development, test, production (dev, tst, prd) using CI/CD.
Experience in Git based repositories (Bitbucket, Code commit, GitHub etc.), Code deploy, code pipeline
Job scheduler/orchestration tools design and development.
Development with an eye towards quality rules based error handling and exceptions.
Experience in Atlassian tools.
3+ years experience automating workflows using AWS services, i.e. SQS, or event based triggers.
Experience with containers AWS Elastic Container Service (ECS) and Kubernetes (EKS) , Fargate.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Healthcare claims experience.
Experience in data structures.
Implementation of ML techniques to automatically identify data or processing defects.
Oracle, data modeling, source to target mappings.
Experience with AWS Relational Database Service (RDS); Hadoop, Elastic Map Reduce (EMR), Databricks, Jupyter Hub.
Experience developing using serverless architecture and microservices.
Understanding of Kimball and Inmon data warehouse approaches.
Trifacta, Matillion, MWA, or other ETL products.
Experience in Agile development.
Experience working as a member of a Scrum development team.
SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL:
Ability to obtain a Public Trust, which includes a residency requirement to have lived in the US 3 of the last 5 years.

The likely salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
