Provides technical solutions in the management of software, hardware, configurations, and architectures, including network control software, routers, switches, and servers.
Evaluates existing network systems to ensure network capacity meets current and future network requirements. Analyzes customer requirements to determine optimal network solutions.
Creates, maintains and deletes user accounts.
Plans, installs and maintains network systems for multiple classifications.
May provide installation, maintenance and repair of network hardware and software.
Develops and/modifies process and technical documentation. Creates back-up procedures, test plans, and related reports.
Evaluates and recommends networking product and software upgrades.
Maintains operating efficiency and stability, and ensures the security and integrity of all systems and data.
Requirements
Desired Qualifications
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products and SharePoint.
Strong oral and written communication skills with experience working directly with customers.
Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and quick turnaround deliverables.
Ability to focus on ticket and monitoring systems for sustained periods.
Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (i.e. VMWare, Citrix)
Have experience designing and implementing VMware, vSphere, Active Directory, Domain Controllers, DHCP, and DNS.
