Develops and applies advanced methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced software applications and problems.

Uses advance knowledge in the preparation and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.

Using expert knowledge, develops software solutions by studying information needs; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.


Duties:

  • Assist Project Scrum Masters to produce accurate delivery estimates.
  • Manage the transition from analysis through to design and delivery.
  • Provide progress updates to GSR PMO to ensure the management of any delivery risks or concerns.
  • Lead a wide range of projects involving the implementation of new and existing systems, solutions, and processes.
  • Design, implement and maintain application phases. 
  • Contribute in all phases of the development life cycle.
  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
  • Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
  • Recommend changes to improve established application processes.
  • Prepare and produce releases of software components. 
  • Develop application code programs. 
  • Develop and execute test plans, support formal testing and resolution of defects. 
  • Provide technical support and consultation for application and infrastructure questions.

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • At least 10 years of demonstrated experience with Java, C#, C++, Go, Python, XML, Linux, or JavaScripts on a program/project similar to the size, scope and complexity.
  • At least 10 years of demonstrated experience working with and building APIs and web services on a program/project similar to the size, scope and complexity.
  • At least 10 years of demonstrated experience working with SQL databases on a program/project similar to the size, scope and complexity.
  • At least 7 years of demonstrated software development experience on a program/project similar to the size, scope and complexity  utilizing SAFe or similar agile methodologies.
  • At least 10 years of demonstrated experience working with Linux Command Lines on a program/project similar to the size, scope and complexity.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance and eligibility to obtain CI Poly

Desired

  • Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • At least 15 years of demonstrated experience with Java, C#, C++, Go, Python, XML, Linux, or JavaScripts on a program/project similar to the size, scope and complexity.
  • At least 15 years of demonstrated experience working with and building APIs and web services on a program/project similar to the size, scope and complexity.
  • At least 15 years of demonstrated experience working with SQL databases on a program/project similar to the size, scope and complexity.
  • At least 10 years of demonstrated software development experience on a program/project similar to the size, scope and complexity utilizing SAFe or similar agile methodologies.
  • At least 15 years of demonstrated experience working with Linux Command Lines on a program/project similar to the size, scope and complexity.
