The sponsor office is seeking an Administrative Assistant Ill who is highly motivated, polished, and organized to serve as a support generalist. The individual must demonstrate strong customer service skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, be able to apply analytical and critical thinking skills sufficient to make sound and timely decisions in well defined, moderate risk situations and to determine when to seek assistance. The officer will primarily support the associate leaders office and other center elements (approximately 130 people) but will also support other center elements in the Washington Metro Area as needed. This will require occasional travel to other sponsor buildings in the Washington Metro Area. The officer will also work closely with the leadership executive support staff who also provide support to the center. The AA will work on a daily basis with, and take direction from the leadership of support. The work varies daily from fast-paced to slow-paced. Duties will be those of a typical support generalist. The core hours are from 9:00am to 3: 00pm. The AA should expect to arrive no earlier than 6:30am and depart no later than 5:30 pm. Extended/additional hours beyond the expected 1,860 per year are not needed. Duties may require ad hoc travel to other sponsor buildings in the Washington Metro Area using their personally owned vehicle. It is strongly desired that candidate have previous sponsor experience and familiarity with customer systems and policies.
