We are seeking a well-rounded SAP Basis Consultant to facilitate migrating SAP from a UNIX ORACLE environment to Cloud based SAP HANA.  The successful candidate must have worked with installation and technical configuration with the following SAP applications in a Unix or Linux environment: SAP ECC 6.0, SAP SRM 7.x, SAP Solution Manager, SAP IdM.  Any experience with SAP migrations, SAP homogenous system copies or SAP heterogeneous systems copies would also be beneficial. This consultant will assist with the migration of SAP applications from a federal agency data center to a commercial cloud service provider. Other key tasks will be to help coordinate the migration activities, assist with post migration integration and technical validation, support functional regression testing and assist with performance testing. 

Duties – Install SAP systems, Refresh systems, Monitor Performance, Support Migration Activity.

Required skills/Level of Experience:

Experience (years) required – 5-10 years

 Required Skills: OS/DB Migration Certification, Installation, Start/Stop, Performance Monitoring, Change Management support.

Other expertise that will be helpful includes browser based single sign-on with SAP Portal, setup of disaster recovery solutions for SAP, setup of high availability solutions, operational processes such as configuration of SAP backups and SAP performance tuning. Good technical writing skills (Visio, PowerPoint) to document new cloud landscape.

The likely salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
