As an Administrative Assistant III, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • MC Travel Coordinators are required to process end to end travel requirements for customers, in coordination with 3 other Travel Coordinators, Sponsor Support Officers, and Sponsor Travel Services

  • Although many requests are transactional, there is often an added level of complexity requiring critical thinking skills to ensure each travel requirement is appropriately addressed and seen through to completion

  • As part of a unique Sponsor team, the MC Travel Coordinators are in a customer facing position and must collaborate to manage the multiple travel requests and requirements of the entire Mission Center

  • The Travel Coordinators support senior leadership at the GS-15 and SIS level and must possess professional decorum and utilize discretion when performing duties. Solid verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently are required

  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT-This position does not require any heavy lifting

  • TRAVEL/TOY- there is no requirement to TOY or travel to other buildings

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • HS Diploma and 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph

  • The candidate must arrive no later than 0830, and additional hours are authorized if the AA needs to stay past 8 hours

  • Candidate must be able to operate in a team environment as well as successfully work on their own

  • This position is on customer site
