At GDIT, people are our differentiator! We are in search of a Dynamic Medical Director and a equally Dynamic Claims Lead!! You be supporting a program within the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). This is a Prevention Project within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Medical Director

Dedicated Medical Director assigned to the Program account who:


Possesses the necessary education and experience as a physician, MD or DO, preferably specializing in occupational health

Understand standards of care and industry best practices to provide clinical guidance and counsel to enhance medical benefit administration

Has a minimum of five years of relevant clinical experience working in a health plan advising client that enables them to make independent clinical recommendations to the Program regarding the member population benefits

Roles & Responsibilities:

Attends all weekly, monthly, and semi-annual scheduled client meetings in which clinical based updates or decisions are required.

Delivers clinical expertise to guide Contractor medical benefit administration

Claims Lead:

Dedicated Claims Lead assigned to the Program account who:


Knowledge of State/Federal regulations regarding claims and bill requirements

Ability to analyze and interpret problems in data collection

At least 5 years of experience in insurance claims

In-depth understanding of legal regulations

Roles and Responsibilities:

Plan, organize and direct claim department

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Customer service background

This position requires being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by January 18, 2022 or the start date, if after January 18. Individuals who work in or reside in Texas or Montana or work outside of the United States may be excluded from this requirement.

The likely salary range for this position is $196,468 - $343,819, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
