GDIT is currently seeking a Senior Advisor Compliance expert and emerging leader to join our Government Compliance team located in Falls Church, VA. The team serves as the primary interface with Government auditors and regulators and is responsible for developing regulatory required deliverables such as incurred cost submissions and supporting associated audits.
Job Description - Task and responsibilities in this role may include, but are not limited to the following:
Lead GDIT’s internal timekeeping compliance monitoring and reporting program
Finalize for delivery and support audit of GDIT’s External Restructuring Proposal for the acquisition of CSRA
Maintain all Compliance internal management reporting—direct and indirect rates’ status, final billing tracking, etc.
Lead or support the design, deployment, and maintenance of a new Compliance processes including cost schedule development, document retention, RFI management, and records storage capabilities
Review current processes and envisions alternative automated solutions that drive increased efficiency
Develop and maintain integration roadmap/artifacts for accounting systems and incurred cost submissions
Provide Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) guidance to internal customers
May assist with incurred cost submission and/or disclosure statement preparation, review and revisions
Manage government auditor office space usage
Conduct internal training sessions for Compliance Team and other Corporate functions
To qualify, you must meet these basic qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field plus 10+ years of applicable experience; OR equivalent combination of education, work experience, or training.
In lieu of degree, must have 14+ years of relevant experience
Advanced or expert knowledge of government Compliance, FAR and CAS regulations
Significant experience in Government Contracting or consulting role in this field
Served as a finance business partner or consultant/advisor providing decision support to executive level internal/external customers.
Hands on experience performing financial modeling, reporting, analytics, and monitoring/evaluating controls
Proficient with relevant software applications such as MS Outlook and Office, including Excel and other relevant applications
Proficient in ORACLE, CostPoint or other equivalent financial systems and applications
US Citizenship is required for systems access
Demonstrated ability to maintain poise under pressure and lead efforts to closure
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in consulting roles.
