General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Java Developer to join our Army Installation Support Modules (ISM) Project. The ideal candidate will be able to research, design, develop, modify, document, test, debug and maintain functionalities for the Army Human Resources Systems (AHRS) software application. The ideal candidate needs to have an active Secret Clearance.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
Overall 1-2 years’ experience with Java development in a working environment
Experience correcting software deficiencies and developing new capabilities
Database experience with SQL, ideally PL/SQL
US citizenship; must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; current Secret clearance highly preferred
Experience using a versioning and revision control system, ideally Apache Subversion
Experience using HP Application Lifecycle Manager
Experience creating and editing PDF’s with Adobe Experience Manager – Forms Designer
Experience in developing integration software specifically Oracle WebLogic
