At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an IT program manager supporting the customer, you will be trusted to collaborate with ITSM and provide oversight and direction when needed for service delivery. In this role, a typical day will include:
Work closely with the Operations Center Lead and IT Service Managers on holistic business process development and implementation
Attend customer meetings, boards, gates. Provide inputs on team progress, accomplishments, roadblocks
De-conflict and prioritize work among staff when escalated
Assign and craft SOP's and other documentation for the group
Assist with personnel management - hiring, staffing support, performance evaluations, compensation planning etc.
Ensure the implementation of decisions and actions resulting from Award Fee Feedback driving up AF score
Monitor customer satisfaction which includes routine interaction with staff to establish a strong and trusting professional relationship.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
Minimum of 6 years related experience.
Technical Skills: communicating to high level government officials and understand a multi-divisional landscape. Provide backup for DTM in the event of their absence, Ability to operate at a High Operational tempo, PMF and / or Agile environments
Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to DevOps Integration within a Cloud based environment ITIL v3 Foundations
