Provide operations and maintenance for storage area networks and other storage capabilities including Fiber Channel networking.  


Work with Storage Area Networks (SANs), Network Attached Storage (NAS), and Direct Attached  

Storage (DAS). 


Working knowledge and application of backup concepts and practices including experience with backup retention, scheduling, and replication for disaster recovery purposes. Including working knowledge of database backups, full and incremental backup technologies and storage de-duplication and changed block tracking. 


Troubleshoots and restores complex storage problems across the enterprise related to replication strategies and storage strategies across wide area networks. 


Manages storage allocation, space, and replication strategies. 


Analyzes and resolves problems related to storage systems and network storage solutions. 


Design virtual storage clusters and physical-to-virtual conversion of servers.   


Design the environment for High-Availability and Data Recovery.   


Assist with development of disaster recovery plans. 


Work with both VMWare and Hyper-V virtualization technologies.  


Work with Windows Server architecture. 


Required Skills 

BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related technology field. Experience may be substituted for education. 

Minimum 8 years’ experience with administration of various SAN and NAS storage architectures. 

Candidate will be required to acquire DoD Instruction 8570 Level II Certification within 6 months of assignment.  



Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
