GDIT is seeking a Systems Engineer Advisor to support the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Cloud Modernization and Sustainment Services effort. The overall objective is to modernize and transform the use of IT to help CDC move into the digital age. The full range of technical and management services includes application rationalization, navigator teams, cloud modernization and application sustainment and continued modernization.
This role is 100% remote, although we prefer candidates who are within commuting distance to the following cities:
In this role, you will design and develop AWS or Azure solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Perform systems management and integration functions. Contributes to the completion of major engineering programs and may function in a project leadership role.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 8+ years of experience
