Logistics and program support to Naval Air Systems Command's Program Office (PMA-231). Performs and coordinates detailed analysis and appraisal of thein production E-2D aircraft. This is a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) multi-cases for Japan in supporting the Deputy Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (DAPML) for aircraft hardware equipment and services. Provide effective logistics support in all logistics elements supporting the delivery of new aircraft.to include but not limited to acquisition planning, supply support, support/test equipment. Supports customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance and/or repair activities. Should have a strong organizational and multi-tasking ability to manage daily program demands. Able to be forward thinking and provide proactive solutions.
Develop schedules in MS Excel and/or MS Project and monitor milestones for established and new logistical requirements and identify problem areas.
Must have effective communication skills to liaison with logistic element manages and NAVAIR competencies.
Will be required to analyze standard contractual documents and technical data. Review customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts. Also, will assist to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements and research for new repair vendors.
Tracks action items, analyzes issues and recommends actions to resolve and supports team administrative processes;
Reviews/prepares acquisition documentation to ensure effective and efficient support for services, products, equipment, and/or systems specific to E-2D aircraft, aircraft upgrades and associated systems and be an effective writer.
Provides guidance and work leadership to less experienced staff members, and may have supervisory responsibilities.
Participates in special projects as required.
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of logistics experience.
