As an Administrative Assistant II, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
The Administrative Assistant (AA) shall support the program and project manager as well as the digitization over time (OT) team. The AA shall use their initiative to monitor work progress, track supply needs, and other issues
The position requires timeliness as staffers work through boxes quickly. The AA shall provide weekly metrics to the project and program managers on number of boxes in progress and completed, OT hours, etc
The AA shall copy the project and program manager on all email correspondence and keep them informed of any challenges or issues
The AA must be able to and is expected to lift boxes (up to 30 lbs.) as a regular part of their job and may expect to make multiple trips a day between the prep area and the registry which are on different floors in the building
The AA may occasionally need to travel to the archive in a GOV or POV to drop off or retrieve materials or supplies.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
HS Diploma and 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
TS/SCI with Polygraph
The position is a Full-time role (1.0 FTE/18600.0 Hours) and the AA shall work 40 hours per week and be in the office 5 days per week. Although there is some flexibility in the exact times and days, the AA will be asked to ensure their hours align with registry hours (7:30am to 4:30pm) in order to receive and send boxes to and from the archive. Alternatively, the AA may align their time with OT staff
