GDIT is seeking a Senior-level Enterprise Architect/Program Manager with a PMP certification for our client at the U.S. Mint with proven experience and expertise to support strategy, planning and implementation for all areas of federal enterprise architecture .

Responsibilities:

• Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area including technical work, financial and business development activities.
• Supervises assigned technical and administrative staff, including subordinate supervisors, and performs personnel actions including hiring and performance evaluation.
• Directs program activities to meet client and organization work objectives and serves as a liaison with clients to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems.
• Responsible for profitability and revenue growth of assigned program(s).
• Assures quality of program products, services, and deliverables, including participating in reviews, audits, and site visits.
• Lead and direct enterprise architects, and systems engineers to deliver the task order scope of requirements.
• Work directly with senior executives of the federal agency to consult, coach, and advise on strategy, business alignment, enterprise architecture, information technology solutions, and the associated impact on the organization and its stakeholders.
• Provide EA support services for Strategic IT Roadmap, IT Governance, Project Management, Cyber Security, Data Architecture, Application & Systems, and IT Infrastructure when developing ways to improve enterprise systems engineering discipline and agencies EA maturity level to 4-5 using latest version of TOGAF (9.2), FEAF (3.1), MBSE, SysML, and COBIT (5).
• Direct high-level enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and development.
• Provide IT Strategy leadership during annual planning process for aligning technology and application road-maps with business plans and IT goals.
• Establish the relationships and processes necessary to engage with senior IT and business leaders to facilitate envisioning activities and provide facilitation for critical IT and business decisions.
• Refine, update and publish agencies viewpoints to serve the needs of analysts, engineers, and leaders in conducting IT Analysis, Planning, Development, Security, Managing Progress, and Multi-Cloud Migrations, as well as enable governance of the United States Mint Acquisition Boards (ARB, ERB, and CCB), Master Approved Product List (MAPL), and the IT Standards Profile (ITSP).
• Maintain and update EA repository.
• Create and maintain EA artifacts such as Technical Reference Models, EA execution plan, ITD Road Maps etc.
• Improve efficiency and to support cost reduction efforts by identifying and eliminating overlapping efforts and redundancy/duplications in systems, applications, data, and assets.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree; Advanced degree is desired.

• Experience in Federal IT and a proven track record with strategy and architecture engagements either within a consultancy or within large Federal government environment.
• Experience serving as a technology advisor in the scope of significant business change initiatives.
• Breadth of technical experience across Applications, Infrastructure, Data and Platform Architecture with extensive experience in one or more technology areas.
• Business experience in implementing complex business process changes within organizations.
• Previous experience in successfully using an EA framework in an enterprise IT context.
• This position requires a requires background and credit check.
• Experience writing viewpoint and various EA artifacts.
• Working knowledge of TOGAF or FEAF.
• PMP certification

Skills, Education, and Certification:

• 15+ years of experience serving as a project manager in an EA or IT service provider role.
• BA or BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline
