As a member of our Test and Engineering Team, the candidate will be tasked with software development projects to assist with testing, analyzing, and troubleshooting flight simulators and simulation environments. The successful candidate will be able to design and implement creative software solutions to a wide variety of data reduction and data process automation problems.
Tasks and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following:
Assist with cyber security data consolidation and analysis
Assist with data preparation automation for simulated terrain development
Assist with capture and analysis of simulation network data, writing software as necessary to aid in analyzing and troubleshooting simulation interactions
To qualify, the successful candidate must meet these basic qualifications:
BA/BS Degree required
Software development skill in C (C++/C#) and Python
Development experience with network communication, operating system API interaction, and large data set processing
Development experience on Linux / Windows, with and without GUI and/or IDE support
Other Qualifications we will look for in our winning candidate include:
Familiarity with Information Assurance and Cyber security requirements for computer systems and networks.
Experience creating, configuring, and managing virtual machines
Experience with Microsoft Office automation (VBA)
Web development experience is preferred
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with internal staff, management, and clients
Ability to work in a team environment, including remote and virtual teams
Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
