The NetOwl team at GDIT is looking for a front-end Software Developer in Chantilly, VA, a suburb of Washington DC. NetOwl is a family of industry-leading AI-based Text Analytics and Identity Analytics products (www.netowl.com). NetOwl products are used by both commercial and public sector customers in the U.S. and abroad for critical applications.
We have an immediate full-time opening for a person who has a strong interest in building innovative, production-level capabilities for data analytics products as part of the development team.
Design and develop front-end web applications that leverage modern frameworks
Integrate web-applications with NoSQL data repositories, optimizing operations
Consistently implement new technologies, trends, and best practices to keep designs fresh
Extensive use of APIs and understanding of HTTP and REST architecture
Experience with Linux/Unix
Expert knowledge of HTML5 and CSS
BS in Computer Science or related areas
At least 5 years of software development experience
Developing applications and visualizations for data analytics
Experience with Elasticsearch or comparable NoSQL technology (highly preferred)
Experience with major commercial cloud platforms like AWS and Azure
Experience with modern deployment architectures such as Docker and Kubernetes.
