At GDIT, we foster a people-focused and customer-centric environment in delivering Innovative Engineering Services.  As a Full Stack Engineer supporting Government, you will be trusted to work on verifying, testing, and validating new technologies towards network architecture modernization.  In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Supporting trade studies, assessments, and provide recommendations          
  • Working within a SAFe Agile Architectural environment
  • Designing and developing APS and data access services for new data feeds
  • Designing and implementing low-latency, highly available, performance applications
  • Asynchronous programming
  • Integrating data storage solutions using PostgreSQL and Redis databases
  • Creating database schema that represent and support business processes
  • Implementing automated testing platforms and develop unit tests
  • Analyzing requirements for web site content, graphics, performance, capacity, accessibility, and security compliance

What you’ll need:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a CI ploy
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification:  Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security.
  • Education:  Bachelor of Science degree or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
  • Minimum of 12 years related experience
  • Experience designing, building, and deploying production level data pipelines incorporating SQL and NoSQL backends
  • Experience with user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
  • Extensive end-to-end development experience with ReactJS and NodeJS
  • Knowledge of modern software development best practices including Agile, DevOps, and MLOps
  • An in-depth knowledge of software development patterns and practices
  • Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Proficiency with server-side languages, such as Ruby, PHP, and .Net
  • Experience with cloud development (i.e., GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Experience with JSON, Spring Boot, and Web UI JavaScript frameworks
  • Experience with Docker, JIRA, and GitHub  
  • Experience with Cloud Platforms
  • Familiarity with database technology, such as MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB, Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP (LAMD), and RDBMS
