Senior Security Technical Analyst

GDIT Federal Financial Agencies is looking for a Senior Security Technical Analyst to perform Cybersecurity Infrastructure Support activities for a Financial Agencies Customer to assist in the creation, dissemination, direction, and auditing of program policy, standards, and operating procedures. The candidate for this position works within our Cybersecurity Infrastructure environment, providing implementation and administration of Security Operations and security-related activities to secure and harden systems. The candidate for this position:

• Uses defensive measures and information collected from a variety of sources to identify, analyze, and report events that occur or may occur within the network in order to protect information, information systems, and networks from threats
• Utilizes available resources to conduct Cybersecurity activities, and reports to senior GDIT and government personnel on overall program security posture
• Conducts network and system audits for vulnerabilities using Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and associated network operating systems
• Ensures the integrity and protection of networks, systems, and applications by technical enforcement of organizational security policies through monitoring of vulnerability scanning devices
• Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced technical staff members
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
• Participates in special projects as required

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in management of group settings, client relationship management and Cyber Security (i.e., federal sys cyber security, FISMA, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance)
• Excellent facilitation, interpersonal, communication and client management skills are required
• Must possess professional training or equivalent experience in one of the following types of disciplines:

• process analysis
• facilitation
• Interest-Based Problem Solving
• performance measures
• project management
• personnel transition planning
• quality assurance

Required Skills:

• Consult with program managers to identify, diagnose, and problem-solve organizational effectiveness problems and solutions through the use of group dynamics
• Coordinate and manage multi-stakeholder outputs and inputs to enhance organizational behavior through the management of information, communication, behavior, and logistics
• Strategic consulting services to align meeting outputs to desired outcomes
• Enterprise strategic systems planning, enterprise information planning and business area analysis
• Process and data modeling in support of the planning and analysis efforts using both manual and automated tools

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience from an accredited university or college
