At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an Administrative Assistant IV a typical day will include:
This AA position directly supports two Chiefs and a Deputy Chief in a front office environment. In addition, the AA would serve as backup AA to additional Senior Leadership as needed. This position requires comprehensive knowledge of the concepts, principles, practices, procedures, and requirements of the administrative arena gained through experiences of increasing responsibility from previous assignments, preferably at Sponsor or other government agencies. Working knowledge of Sponsor's organization is desired
Coordinate, arrange and document recurring and ad hoc meetings. Internal meetings will range from staff/administrative meetings to focused-topic meeting
AA will maintain office rosters and phone trees: be responsible for all administrative aspects of the on-boarding process, including access requests and office access; and complete all administrative requirements when non-cleared personnel have on-site visits
Maintain inventory of office supplies, including ordering through Customer supply system
Arrange travel for Senior Leadership and support travel when needed for other office members
Proofread and edit all out-going correspondence to ensure proper grammar. punctuation, format. content, and routing
HS Diploma and 7 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
TS/SCI with Polygraph
Available to work during core hours Monday to Friday 0700-1800
Proficient Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Able to perform duties with minimal supervision and some team interaction
