Develops and applies quality standards in accordance with company and customer requirements. Develops and conducts related tests.

 

  1. Analyzes existing documentation and creates new documentation to support the program.
  2. Briefs and teaches metrology, as needed, to customer staff engineers.
  3. Evaluates customer equipment for suitability to the mission needs.
  4. Implements the customer's standards for quality and adapt them to testing.
  5. Analyzes customer equipment and products, develops a test plan, executes the test plan and writes a comprehensive report of findings.
  6. Assists in the characterization, design, development, fabrication, and testing of customer equipment and products.
  7. Proves out and assesses various fabrication techniques, material selection, and suitability of deployable hardware by assisting with the selection and testing of materials, adhesives, and design approach to be used.
  8. Assists in maintaining the customer's quality infrastructure in the areas of test equipment, policies, and expertise.
  9. Performs electromagnetic interference (EMI) and environmental testing of deployable equipment.
  10. Performs 3D-Tomography and X-ray testing/analysis.
