Our work depends on a Lifecycle Services Lead joining our team to support Customer activities at Herndon, VA.
At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an Engineering Services Lead supporting the Customer, you will be trusted to work on innovative solutions that will transform and enhance the Enterprise IT environment to meet the growing global mission. In this role, a typical day will include:
Performs discovery, gap, remediation & knowledge gathering on all non-incumbent work (all SOPs, tickets, SSRs, LSC projects, Tech Refresh, Printer Consumables, TECHREQ, PTI, Asset Management, Hardware Storage) to ensure warm hand-off of existing tasks to program personnel.
Leverages experienced LSC Operations & Lifecycle Services incumbents to provide on-the-job LSC Operations & Lifecycle Services task training/shadowing and cross-training for new personnel.
Performs tools assessment on existing LSC Operations & Lifecycle Services support tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BESS, Genesis) and provides improvement recommendations for Phase 2 transition consideration.
Conducts physical and virtual site surveys to inventory and validate LSC assets/locations to transfer non-incumbent workload (services, in-work tickets, projects, lifecycle services).
Establishes and refines 3rd party relationships to obtain hardware lifecycle services data.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Bachelor's Degree (in an IT-related field)
11+ years or relevant experience
TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (R)
