GDIT Technology Shared Services (TSS) is seeking a Business Analyst Advisor. Business Analyst Advisors in GDIT’s Technology Shared Services Applications Organization are subject matter experts that build the bridge between our business and our clients. The HR Business Analysts basic role is to process design and support implementation of creative Intelligent Automation solutions for our commercial and public sector customers. Our BAs work directly with business/functional partners to understand business challenges, tease out, and document requirements, and build business cases to support development of solutions to automate manual processes. The HR Business Analyst will define, promote and utilize best practices for business case development in support of automation technologies and serve as a subject matter expert for others seeking to utilize the same technologies to automate and streamline existing manual business processes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with other agencies, military personnel, civilians, and contractors with regard to automation (RPA, AI/ML, Data Analyitcs, etc.) interest, inquiries, and collaboration projects
Support customers by providing answers, expertise, and insights as needed
Brief potential customers on GDITs Intelligent Automation capabilities as needed
Capture keystroke level detail from customers/process owners for automation development
Present/speak to automation requests and status of projects to the client, project manager, and governance boards as needed
Develop documentation, presentations, videos, and other promotional materials as needed
Collaborate with the developers to ensure customers development requirements are accurately captured for automation projects
Become familiar with automation technology to enhance knowledge of how automation works and to better inform customers on capabilities
Support the governance of the respective automation technologies
Develop and track metrics and financial projections for each automation
Research questions and issues to resolve problems quickly, including escalation to appropriate subject matter experts
Where appropriate recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to increase efficiency and service
Build collaborative partnerships with customers and teammates to increase productivity and retention
*Due to contract requirements, candidate must be located in the DC, Maryland, Virginia (DMV) area.
BA/BS or equivalent + 8 Years Relevant Experience
Leading HR process redesign work; recommending changes that will streamline and automate processes
Providing detailed analysis to support key HR business decisions and initiatives
Proven experience leading and managing key HR business processes (Recruit to Onboard, HR Compliance Tracking, Benefits Enrollment, etc)
Experience developing and delivering executive level presentations aligned to business needs
Advanced analytical skills and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
Strong business acumen
Ability to obtain core technology certifications (UiPath, ServiceNow, SalesForce) aligned to position. Training will be provided.
Post COVID: occasional onsite support required. < 5% travel
The likely salary range for this position is $84,000 - $126,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
