Our work depends on a Senior Business Analyst joining our team to support a CDC program remotely.

At GDIT, we put our people first.  As a Senior Business Analyst supporting CDC, you will be trusted to work on Appian Technology and support requirements gathering, configurations and implementation of the Budget management system in an Agile framework.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Lead and participate in requirements elicitation and development of User Stories.
  • Meet with stakeholders to gather requirements and apply budget management knowledge to implement those requirements.
  • Configure, test and deploy the Appian solution for Budget Management
  • Create, review, and deliver the documentation of System and User needs.
  • Manage and track open issues and assist in the resolution.
  • Work closely with the technical counterparts and end users throughout the Agile implementation from Backlog grooming and Sprints to the delivery of the Resource (Budget) management system.
  • Performs Sprint Reviews (demos) and Testing to ensure the solution meets the acceptance criteria.  Also support the Training activities.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Required:

  • BS or equivalent of 8+ yrs related experience
  • Strong Business Analysis (BA) and Testing background
  • Knowledge of Federal Budget Management
  • Expertise in systems analysis, including the ability to critically evaluate business requirements and determine best solutions
  • Strong Agile and communication skills

Desired:

  • Understanding of Appian framework and technology
  • Capable of creating scripts to generate custom reports
  • Experience with Agile development tools, such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence
