We are seeking a Computer Security System Specialist to help support our JSP SDN contract in Arlington, VA.

The Computer Security System Specialist will be part of an Engineering Team that will be leading engineering and modernization efforts for a large enterprise, multi-tenant environment covering various technologies. The role of Computer Security System Specialist will be focused on development of the RMF Accreditation package for a new Enterprise Networking Solution, to include DISA STIG, Monitoring and implementation IAVMs,  ACAS scanning, writing and executing PO&AM's and more, also technical hands-on engineering with servers, virtual and physical, using Enterprise tools, may need a bit of scripting experience, and high level understanding of Network and Storage architecture required.

The computer system security system specialist must be able to develop and recommend technical solutions to support the government requirements in solving complex network security problems.


  • Active Secret security clearance
  • CISSP certification or equivalent 8570 IAM Level III certification (CASP ce, CISM, or GSLC).
  • 5+ Years Engineering experience required on large Enterprise systems
  • Experience in Pentagon/DoD environment preferred, experience with OSD WHS or Pentagon customer also highly desired.
  • Strong knowledge of information security principles, DoD networks, standards, and systems, and the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Experience auditing and documentation systems using DISA auditing tools, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), DISA STIG, and SCAP tools.
  • Ability to provide technical information required for verification of security compliance
  • Perform technical risk and vulnerability assessments of IT and IS for accreditation; prepare risk assessment reports for submission to accrediting officials
  • Review and track Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M)'s for all accepted risks upon completion of system Certification & Accreditation (C&A)
  • Plan, test and implement security controls on systems in accordance with directives
