As an IT Mobile Endpoint Management Lead supporting U-View, you will be trusted to oversee the planning, creation, deployment, and maintenance of robust, secure production-level IT services to provide infrastructure and support for all endpoint systems of the enterprise. This role will be in Bossier City, LA.
In this role, a typical day will include the responsibilities below:
Leads the design, creation, and maintenance of endpoint services (anti-virus deployment, patch management, malware protection, version control etc.) in line with business requirements
Design and participate in Change Management and Incident Management, including communications planning for before and after changes/incidents. Be aware of major business cycles that affect service offerings.
Independently provides advanced level technical solutions of software, hardware, configurations, and architectures utilizing Mobile Device Management (MDM).
Troubleshoots system specific issues that are moderate to high complexity in scope.
Performs advanced software configurations, upgrades, and managed software packages.
Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels.
Ensures workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions.
Independently ensures data/media recoverability within the MDM environment.
Ensure disaster recovery and high availability capabilities in the cloud.
Maintain performance and security of endpoints to meet the needs of the customer.
Applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
Evaluates existing systems and assists with planning long-term strategies.
May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.
Work across teams, and external customer groups to develop strategy, design solutions, and advise implementation teams during deployment.
Build and maintain technical relationships with managers of the organization and technology providers by leading and facilitating cloud technology discussions and aligning solutions with client needs.
Provide communication, ensuring that managers, team members, stakeholders within the organization, and clients are kept informed of relevant trends and projects.
Research new or alternative technologies, document findings, conduct pilots and evaluate multiple vendors, make recommendations, and develop business cases to justify the investment.
Deal with escalations. Make assessments, recommendations or provide solutions to resolve issues.
Mentor and train staff, ensuring they are up to speed on critical processes and technologies related to the organizations’ goals and soft skills needed to succeed.
Develop timelines for projects.
Contribute to budgeting for and understand the financial impact of cloud technology decisions.
Guide the selection, implementation, and deployment processes for new cloud technology rollouts.
BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 8+ years of experience (Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related area is preferred)
Active SECRET clearance required
Experience with Microsoft Intune and other MDM platforms
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong communication skills
Strong attention to detail and requirements
Experience with Cloud Computing, MDM management, and an active cloud certification (Azure Preferred)
Microsoft SCCM experience preferred
Cloud migration, Cloud Cyber Security experience
