Job Description Summary:
Performs complex administrative, analytical, and planning tasks in support of a contract program.
Assist in building realistic, challenging, and relevant cyberspace operations scenarios that meet strategic and operational exercise objectives for USSOUTHCOM
Apply Cyberspace Operations functions in development of scenarios and training objectives.
Assist in development of Cyberspace operations mission scenario event list, task performance observations, training proficiency evaluations and lessons learned reports.
Assist in development of Joint Mission Essential Task List and associated Joint Mission Essential Tasks related to Cyberspace Operations
Establishes and defines Exercise plan requirements and performs in-depth studies to determine optimum program plans.
Develop end-to-end cyberspace exercise services including scheduling, coordinating, and conducting planning meetings, work group meetings, and exercise facilitation.
Represent the organization as the cyberspace exercise POC during exercise planning, execution, and post exercise. Interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant exercise matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
Coordinate with Network Operations Security Center cybersecurity subject matter experts for information technology technical support.
Provide input to briefings and transitioning concepts to execution and assist in the coordination of joint operational planning in support of training, combat, and contingency operations.
Provide input for the development of cyberspace Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Courses Of Action (COAs), and other related documents.
Provide input to address shortfalls, prioritize and validate requirements, and be prepared to modify development planning efforts based on the changing cyberspace environment.
Conduct technical studies, analyses, and evaluations to improve organizational knowledge of doctrine, organizational effectiveness, training, leadership, contractor personnel status, and gaps. Advise on viability of alternative approaches.
Conduct extensive interaction and maintain working relationships among various representatives across military services, other government agencies, partner nations and vendors.
Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met.
Interacts regularly with customers and other cyber mission force and military command representatives to ensure conformance to customer requirements.
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
5+ years of related Joint or Cyber Exercise/Operations planning and analysis experience.
Experience and understanding of Joint Level Exercises and Joint Exercise Life Cycle.
Active DoD Secret clearance upon start and willing to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
For prior military, Joint Qualification; otherwise, DoD Joint Staff Level Action Officer Experience.
Graduate of Army or Joint Cyber Operations Planner’s Course, or other Joint Information Operations or Cyber Operations Planning Course.
Graduate of Military Service Command and General Staff Course.
Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
