This is a full-time position for a Desktop SCCM Administrator located at the customer site (no telework) to perform the following:


Job Responsibilities:  Manage and maintain desktop images. Identify research and resolve technical problems. Apply systems analysis and engineering techniques and combine software, hardware standards in the development of standard desktop systems. Installs new software release, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, resolves software related problems. Follow structured process for desktop image development for desktop environments.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Package and manage workstation patching and deployments using SCCM CB
  • Package COTS application/software and deploy using SCCM CB
  • Test packages for completeness prior to deployment
  • Develop and update processes and procedures related to desktop management and administration.
  • Coordinate updates to images with desktop support teams and change management organization.
  • Ensure all work is supported by appropriate documentation (incident, problem, service request or project tickets)
  • Ensure proper solutions and knowledge management best practices are followed, and integrate Continual Service Improvement processes to continually refine and improve image management.
  • Facilitate the implementation of ITIL standards
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Skills:

  • Experienced in troubleshooting and maintaining SCCM 2007 and CB
  • Creating software packages in SCCM CB
  • Utilizing SCCM and WSUS for Microsoft security patches, hotfixes
  • Working Knowledge of MS Windows 7 and 10
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory
  • Maintaining desktop/laptop Windows 7 and Windows 10 images and deployment using SCCM
  • Working knowledge of Group Policy Management
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Servers 2012, 2012R2, 2016
  • Understanding of registry keys
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking and problem solving and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated, takes initiative, flexible, reliable
  • High attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to take proactive action when needed.
  • Excellent spoken and very good written EnglishDesired Skills:
  • Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) 2008 / 2010
  • Creating desktop/laptop Windows images


Preferred Certification:

  • CompTIA A+
  • MCSE
  • MCSA: Windows 10
