At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an Administrative Assistant IV a typical day will include:

  • As a critical member of the Group Front Office. the Administrative Assistant (AA) Level IV will provide comprehensive executive support to the leadership team, working independently with general review and guidance from the Chief of Staff

  • The AA will manage check-in/out procedures for entire group, averaging 1-5 new resources a week

  • AA provides general administrative support in a timely manner to the front office and divisions, including ordering office supplies, ordering computer accessories and printers; arranges repairs for office equipment and facility repairs

  • The AA must proactively manage calendars (12 Leadership with low complexity + 6 conference room calendars) and schedule items by applying considerable knowledge of the principals' roles and responsibilities as it relates to the group

  • AA provides regular scheduling and meeting/appointment coordination and use critical thinking lo de-conflict schedules and anticipate and plan future events; must be able to adapt and make changes with little to no notice

  • AA occasionally coordinates travel arrangements for the two senior executives and their itineraries which is usually CONUS and can be single or multi leg; ensures proper travel documentation is processed and completed before date of travel; process travel expense reimbursements upon return and uses critical thinking to resolve issues in senior executive's absence

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • HS Diploma and 7 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph

  • Available to work during core hours Monday to Friday 9:30am-3:30pm

  • Proficient Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

  • Able to perform duties with minimal supervision and some team interaction
