GDIT is seeking to support our government client with policy analysis and technical writing in support of an exciting national security mission.
Must have experience in the fields of national security, defense, continuity, crisis management, and public policy; experience should include planning, requirements development, documentation, and implementation actions related to those fields.
Must have excellent skills in technical writing, oral presentations, reviewing and editing, and MS office suite.
Provide expertise and experience in national security, defense, public policy related to each of the following specified tasks:
Support the research, writing, review, coordination, and publishing of documentation to enhance continuity policy and operations.
This includes supporting the coordination of documents among Department of Defense components and the inter-agency, developing information and decision briefings, and developing written deliverables.
Provide input or rewrites for concepts of operations, plans, procedures, checklists, and other documentation that support Policy coordination; Crisis Management and Continuity programs; Alert notifications and reception procedures; Senior official tracking and identification; Inter-agency operations
When directed, provide recommendations to the leadership on all DoD policies related to continuity as directed;
As necessary, advise and assist with the development of read-aheads, executive summaries, inquiries, or other policy related correspondence as directed.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS, 5+ years experience
