  • Bachelor’s Degree +5 years of related industry experience (in lieu of Bachelor's Degree, an additional 4 years of related industry experience equaling 9 total years of experience)
  • 5+ years of corporate commercial and FAR regulated supply chain experience (experience in a Fortune 500 company and Government contractor preferred)
  • Experience in communicating with a team, requesters ,and suppliers
  • Ability to develop specific sourcing strategies and negotiating approaches for complex requirements.
  • Contractual experience, including pricing, and key terms and conditions negotiations.
  • Demonstrated cost containment experience (savings, cost avoidance, etc. . . )
  • Experience in written/oral communications at all levels of the company.
  • Ability to work closely across all levels of GDIT to fully understand the specific needs of Supply Chain’s internal customers
  • Experience managing complex projects and ability to influencing persons not in one’s chain of authority
  • Experience in written/oral communications at all levels of the company
  • Demonstrated ability to work with little supervision, be proactive in problem prevention and resolution, an able to balance competing demands on one’s time

Desired Qualifications:

  • Technical understanding of systems, tools and related technology that supports Supply Chain organizations.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports in MS Excel
  • Working knowledge of Legal interaction, HR-related topics or other key corporate areas
  • Demonstrated experience in developing effective negotiating strategies
