Requires an experienced, self-directed, ServiceNow Systems Administrator to work in a full-time capacity providing systems administration support to designated special operations units. This position will support the customer site at Fort Bragg, NC.
Provides support for the organization’s ServiceNow platform. Requires a strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM (Request, Incident, Problem, Knowledge, Change, Service Catalog, and Service Portal. Additional experience in Microsoft System Center Orchestrator will be greatly beneficial. Overseeing the implementation of system specifications, integration, testing, and documentation are a key part of the role. The successful candidate must demonstrate a high level of expertise with both ServiceNow and Orchestrator workflows and service offerings. Knowledge of managing and maintaining Windows Server 2012R2 or above is a must, including application of required DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides.
Should have experience with VMWARE. Expected to show proven ability to perform troubleshooting, load balancing and resource allocation in a staging and production environment. Interacts daily with supervisors and/or functional peer groups. Operates as a member of a team supporting multiple networked applications and may require 24/7 recall support. All support shall comply with applicable DoD regulations and site procedures.
A DOD Top Secret Security Clearance with DCID 6/4 eligibility.
3-5 years of experience in the maintenance and administration of ServiceNow application platform
CompTIA Security+ Certification.
Strong oral and written communications skills.
Ability to function as a member of a team while also capable of operation with little supervision or constant guidance.
Solid work ethic and the ability to work in a mission critical environment.
Experience in supporting Enterprise applications in a production environment.
Large server environment experience.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
Good knowledge in Microsoft System Center Orchestrator.
6-8 years of experience in the administration of LAN operating systems, servers, and applications in a production environment.
VMWARE ESX 5.5 or above experience.
B.S. or MS in Computer Science, Information System, Mathematics, or IT related field.
Military background and experience with Special Operations.
