Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

The Technical Integration Lead (TIL) shall oversee all coordination for all technical and network architecture design and stimulation of Army Mission Command Systems in support of unit training events and distributed exercises.

  • Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems.

  • Provides troubleshooting support for system hardware and software issues that are highly difficult in scope.

  • Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems.

  • Sets up administrator and service accounts.

  • Maintains system documentation

  • Design and implement monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions that will make a hands-off environment

  • Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.

  • Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.

  • Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.

  • May program in an administrative language.

  • Develops and implements testing strategies and document results.

  • Provides advice and training to end-users.

  • Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff members.

  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

  • Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.  

  • Must be organized and have the ability to manage projects of varying length.

  • Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently.  

  • Participates in special projects as required.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in network administration and support.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of related network hardware and software.

  • Professional Certification in one or more specific technologies may be required to meet DoD Approved RMF Baseline Certifications.

Education:

  • BS/BA subject immaterial, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training.

  • 8+ years of experience; Military training and training support at Brigade and above highly preferred.

  • Comp TIA SEC+ is required

Clearance:

  • Position requires a TOP SECRET clearance; candidate MUST possess a TOP SECRET clearance
