Systems Engineer Advisor, (TS/SCI clearance required)

WHAT YOU WILL DO :

• Experience developing on the ServiceNow platform including the creation and/or customization of the core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, Service Catalog, Asset Management, Knowledge Management, etc.

• Responsible for supporting the design, development, and continuous improvement of enterprise Service Management solutions in ServiceNow.

• Collaborate with the existing external ServiceNow team following industry standards with day to day activities and development projects.

• Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow data model and relationships

• Proficient in ServiceNow development of workflows, custom web services, custom notifications, assessments, custom app

• Experience administering a ServiceNow instance including the delegation of groups, modification of CMS, workflows, business rules, UI pages, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, catalog items and updates of all other existing solutions requiring revision

• Create, maintain and enhance Dashboards and reporting, including scheduled reports

• Create and maintain Forms, Reports, Views, Workflows, Groups and Roles

• Coordinate application and platform upgrades

• Assist with creation and cataloging of business process flows

• Work with the ServiceNow development team to propose solutions based business needs and strategies

• Perform the necessary tasks to design and configure ServiceNow functions to meet operational needs

• Ability to provide ServiceNow customization and configuration including but not limited to: scripting, workflow administration, report setup, module customization, data imports and third-party software integration.

• Contributes to completion of major engineering programs and projects

• Develops solutions to a variety of highly complex engineering problems

• Oversees highly complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools

• Performs highly complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysis

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience and 8+ years of directly related experience in system administration, engineering and analysis.   

• Desired Programming Languages: Powershell; C++; JavaScript.

• ServiceNow Experience should include scripting in ServiceNow, tool configuration, design work, technical configuration and deployment.

• Specifically, candidates shall possess the skill to develop on the ServiceNow platform including the creation and/or customization of the core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change and Service Catalog

• One of the following DoD approved certifications is necessary to meet the category/level IAT-2 (DoD 8570) requirement for this position:  Security+, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA-Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), CASP, GCIH, or GCED. 

• Preferred ​ITIL v3 Certification 

• Current TS/SCI clearance required​
